Licensed and insured, Dr. T, as she is fondly referred to, graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine with a Doctor of Science in Oriental Medicine.

Dr. Nguyen’s doctoral thesis was on Bloodletting Therapy, a subject that is often misunderstood and feared by modern people although it offers incredible healing potential. Bloodletting can often just require one drop to have incredible results. Dr. T hails from a family that has 4 generations of East Asian medicine practitioners in Vietnam. She immigrated to the US when she was 13 and started her medical training as a naturopath but found her true calling in classical East Asian medicine. Thanh believes that the body has its own wisdom that is often overlooked.

She has extensive experience interning in a wide variety of clinical settings where she has successfully treated both acute and chronic conditions.

She is currently in process of full certification in Cranial Sacral manipulation, continues her herbal studies with Dr. Joon Hee Lee, DAOM, LAc. and acupuncture studies with Dr. Brenda Hood PhD, LAc both of whom are masters in their fields.

As a practitioner, Thanh is passionate about helping her patients and her goal is to treat every individual who comes into her office with compassion and respect so that everyone is heard and seen. Thanh will continue to study and reinforce her knowledge and skills in order to give her patients the best care possible, and to provide patients with the information they need in order to lead a healthy and balanced life.
